review 1: A very good read. At first I had some trouble getting into it but once I did, I couldn't put it down for every long afterwards. I was warned it would be dark but it wasn't so overly dark that it would have be unenjoyable - in fact, because of the warning straight from the author, I think I was expecting it to be much, much darker.
