review 1: This series just gets better and better!!! I really enjoyed this book; by far my favorite of the Hawker/Laidlaw stories. The plot was well planned and well researched! I love when authors can blend science and history into such a believable and interesting story! I also love that this series shows a strong and capable leading WOMAN! Such a nice change. Highly recommend this! I really hope Brown picks the series back up!! I can't wait to read more about these two and their adventures.
review 2: This was a pretty good book. Lots of action and excitement. I liked the pace and it had enough characters to make the story interesting without having so many that you get confused on who everyone is. I am not sure if this was the first for this character since it kept... more referring to things that happened in his past. So now I guess I will have to see if I can find out if there is a prequel to this book. less
