review 1: Good enough page turner. The premise is well thought out and intriguing--what if Britain had surrendered after Dunkirk and Hitler had taken most of Europe and Africa. The book considers an Africa where the Africans have been deported and there are autobahns running the length of the continent. The premise is interesting enough to carry a political thriller that is absurdly action packed in stretches.A good pool read.
review 2: Interesting premise based on extrapolations of Nazi plans for Africa post-WW2 (if they had won.) Characters and plotting workmanlike after that. For fans of alternate history and thrillers. Plenty of action and layers of loyalty and betrayal. The author has done his research and it shows in some of the details of his make-believe r... moreeality. Otherwise, you could easily skip it. Might make a nice game or thriller movie. less
