review 1: Sawyer has just lost her boyfriend Kevin in a drunk driving accident. She is devastated and wracked by guilt-and on some level-relieved. She knows that Kevin can no longer hurt her, and her shameful secret of his abuse is safe. Or is it? Because someone puts a clipping about the accident in her locker along with a note that says, "You're welcome." Someone knew about the abuse. And put a stop to it. And that same someone seems to be stalking Sawyer's every move. This is a book that grips you right away and pulls you in. It is both a thriller and an engrossing mystery. As the body count rises, the tension ratchets up, as does the claustrophobic sense of the walks closing in on Sawyer. Great reluctant reader book.
review 2: I liked reading this book, it was someth... moreing different for a YA novel and I enjoyed how it was written. The characters were likeable enough, especially Cooper who I thought was a gent. I had my suspicions untill halfway through when I worked out who it was. I didn't give it 5 stars instead of 4 because the reason why the pranks had been committed. It seemed sudden and out of the blue instead of being realistic with the rest of the novel. Also once I worked out who, I ended up screaming at Sawyer in my head because she didn't work out who it was. However it was an enjoyable read an I would recommend it. less
