review 1: I couldn't finish the book and now I'm done with this series. I don't hate it, I'm just bored. This feeling has been growing, and after four days, I look down and was only halfway through the book and I gave up. The lead character has some snappy dialogue and that is the only positive recommendation I can give. I can tell you the last sentence I read in the book. It's on page 195 and runs from row 11-13. "The officer on guard has no idea how Lucas or Oliver got passed him." Yes, you read that correctly. Where's the editor, the proofreader, the author for that matter? I'm done.
review 2: What happens when dear old dad comes back in your life? Well for Sophie Lawson it is the start of Armageddon, for dear old dad is Lucas Szabo (aka Satan the devil). Bod... moreies are showing up around town just a little bit crispy, and they don't know why they are going up in flame with no accelerant. When Alex finds one of Sophie's business cards in one of the victims hands, she is automatically thrown into the investigation. Fires are breaking out all over town and they don't know who is causing it. Every clue they find points to dear old dad. When Lucas shows up at her door she finds out why he has decided to get to know her now, he wants the VESSEL OF SOULS that is inside of her. Now she has to do everything she can to make sure he does not get it. Even if she has to perform a ritual to return it where it belong, but if she does this she will lose one of the men in her life that she loves. How can she love two men at the same time, for they both bring something to the relationship. One makes her feel safe and protected and the other just gets her. UNDER THE FINAL MOON is a funny, quick read that will have you laughing. The characters and story line are well-developed. I give this book 5/5 stars. I recommend this book and series to everyone. less
