review 1: Wow, what a wonderful and beautiful read. I am now a huge fan of Harper Fox. I loved the Scottish island setting and the isolation of the sheep farm felt like another world. It tool me a while to get the hang of the Scottish brogue but it's written so well that you pick it up effortlessly. Nichol was amazing and the love that blossomed between him and Cameron was simply magical. Highly recommend to all M/M lovers like me.
review 2: I really enjoyed that book. The plot was a real surprise for me. The quiet and not really freely chosen life of Nicholas and his grandfather gets a new spin when the cityboy Cameron stumbles into it. The author works with secrets, grief, stubborn men -the young and the old - a small city, lost love, crime, new love, passion, hurt and
... more so much more. All this is wrapped in the wonderful and raw nature of a Scottish island and Gaelic language and culture. Oh and there are also sheeps and a cat... ;) Loved it! less

Incredible writing! I want to frame this and hang it on the living room like an artwork.

Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars ... so I'll round it up.
