review 1: This book is brilliant - I loved everything about it, from the extremely well constructed plot; the right balance between suspense, action and mystery; the characters, which are drawn so well they could step right out of the page; down to the main protagonist Fiona, who is one of a kind, intriguing and becoming more compelling with every book. I couldn't put the book down - it was a brilliant stroke of genius to give Fiona three different personas, which put quite a unique spin to the storyline. The finale is both action packed and suspenseful without stretching the boundaries of believability too much. Definitely one of my favourite reads this year and one which will make me wait with bated breath for the next installment in the Fiona Griffiths series. Well done, Mr Bin... moregham!
review 2: 4.5 Stars. This is the best book I have read since Nesbo's The Police. I would have given it 5 stars but I didn't like what happened at the very end. This book is told in first person, which I generally do not like but it works very well here. I thought it was interesting that Fiona exhibited OCD tendencies here but it was never called that although the word obsessive was used at least once. I looked forward to this book enough that I ordered it from the UK. I was not disappointed. less
