review 1: The story of Bianca and Caleb grabbed at me first because the heroine was plus-sized, second the sexy soldier, and lastly, the art of writing letters. Such a lost art form, that I loved to do but the internet and e-mail make it too easy. There is something about holding a letter that someone wrote in your hads that make it more personally and that is what Bianca is doing for Caleb. While he is bravely serving our country, Bianca starts to write him as a favor to her best friend and his sister Greta. At first she doesn't know what to write but as the first letter is sent and a reply is written a relationship of sorts develops. Now that he is home, what is Bianca to do. She has been dodging him every visit but this time she has no other choice.Without giving the story away, ... moreI will say sometimes you need to put on your "BIG GIRL" panties and fight for what you want. Great story!
review 2: After I bought my first Hazel Gower book, "Ours" I became an instant fan. Letters to her Soldier was a sexy, short read, perfect for when you have an hour or two and just want to squeeze in some hot romance. Caleb and Bianca's story starts off with him coming back home. After five years of letters back and forth between each other, Caleb knows what he wants...and it's Bianca. I really liked how they both had such strong feelings for each other that developed over the five year period, leaving the reader aware of their history and making it an even sweeter HEA. less

It was a great little novella and I found myself liking the characters and their actions immensely.

solid and good short story but loses a lot of points for how short it is compared to the cost.
Carina
