review 1: I knew from the last short story that I couldn't wait to read this one. Jayne and Seth are so different, but their attraction was instant. I really loved how with the tattoo that Jayne told Seth her past and loved how he accepted it and her, it really helped cement things between the two of them. The slow way that they got to know each other was great, it helped when trouble came to the door. They had that trust to allow the other to do what was right and needed. The new direction that things took for them was great. I loved how Divine stepped up to take care of one of their own and later how another community did the same. The ending was great, loved the wedding with the perfect best man!
review 2: I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend then
... more was able to meet the author at an off RT signing hosted by Kallypso Masters in Missouri this past May where she signed the book for me *squeal*. Second note, I didn’t not realized this was a series until I was 90% threw the book, sooo now I get to go back and read the first 11 books. Yes, that is how good this book was I want, no scratch that, need to go and read her other books. This book most definitely gets 5 starts from me and more if they were available. On the outside Seth is the Bad Boy poster child. I mean come on, Tattoos, goatee, smokin’ body, rides a Harley, owns a Tattoo shop….. tell me that is not a Bad Boy. Well good thing Ms. Jayne Sheridan, the Liberian, doesn’t read a book by its cover or she would never gotten to know how great Seth really is. I love how sweet a loving Seth is and how kind and understanding Jayne is. I also enjoyed seeing how their friends and Jayne jumped in to help Seth put the pieces of his life back together after his ex-girlfriend dropped by for an unannounced visit. I just loved reading about the other couples in the book too and can’t wait to read their stories. Heather Rainier has a way of hooking you into a story and not wanting to put it down. I read this book in one day I just could not set it down. Time to start reading the other books. less
