review 1: Me agarró por sorpresa este libro. Excelente reconstrucción de época, desde los diálogos y el estilo hasta las descripciones de ambientes; interesantes y atrapantes intrigas políticas y super verosímiles relaciones entre personajes. Me encantó la idea de las Gladiadoras, que no son menos que los hombres, pero sí deben cargar con el peso de lo que son por naturaleza, como nos sucede a muchas de nosotras sin quererlo. Gran libro.
review 2: I didn't really like this one. The MC's fell for each other, but they only saw and spoke with each other for about 6 hours prior to the declaration. Those 6 hours were spent with Anazar thinking contemptuously, and Felix being a bit of a jerk.Then the background social life was not well explained, nor was it readily av... moreailable in context for me. So, I probably won't try any others in this series. less
