review 1: First 95% of the book 4 starts, last 5% -3 starsI was torn on how to rate this book. I have very much enjoyed this series and even enjoyed this book until near the end. What made up my mind was that the end of this book was so out of character and irritating that it undid my enjoyment of the previous 3 books. It left me not liking any of the characters by the end and not caring what happens to them.
review 2: Based on the title, I wasn't really thrilled to read this book. I'm already envisioning a fight between the major groups because they already know what Mack is but boy, I was wrong. This book turned out to be really fun. I haven't laughed out loud from reading a book in a long time now. The book started out funny and ended in a sad note which I think is
... more finesse on Helen Harper's part. You have to admit that Audrey is just funny here and Mack as well. I think a lot of people will hate how Mack is really bossy here but I think it was fine. For the most part, it was really amusing. On the other hand, I'm actually shocked by the outcome of the final match. It was totally unexpected. Also, I just want to say that I didn't see anything wrong in any of Mack's decision here. I'll leave it at that note because I don't wanna spoil anything further. It's a darn shame that the next book is the last T-T. less
