review 1: The Blood Destiny series is well written. This is my second time through the series. I might have missed something the first time. I get so angry for how Lissa is treated. She has, from the start, made the best of a bad situation. She has used her new powers to help others and always tries to do the right thing. She is used, abused, and disrespected by those who claim to care about her. They should all be thankful that Lissa has a big heart, that she has compassion for others, that she is loyal to those she cares about. This series just gets better. There is danger, intrigue, potential romance and more. This is not your typical vampire book. There is so much more in this world that Connie has created.
review 2: I'm really pleased with this series. I usually ha... moreve my 'as if' factor on the run. An example of this would be 'no way, as if they wouldn't have surveillance cameras everywhere' etc etc. Connie, thank you for your realistic sensible characterisations as apposed to those who seem to place the unrestricably dumb characters as the main hero - as if you would be that dumb! Additionally, I'm stoked that this hasn't turned into a unrestained soap opera. I live in hope it stays that way. less
