review 1: This book sucked. Too many people to keep track of. Too many places she folded in and out of. I hate Lissa- she's whiny and indecisive, and falls to pieces too easily. When I started rooting for the (far too many) main characters to die, I knew I had to give this book 1 star. Last book got a 2 stars rating. I bought the first 8 books all at once instead of buying one at a time as I finished them, and I'm really sorry that I wasted my money.
review 2: Insane, but somehow addictive. I still read it in one go, but first 5 books are my favorite before the mess with multiple mates started. Lissa still saves the world (in this case, multiple universes) while managing to bake cookies under any conditions. She still has to deal with multiple betrayals and heartbreaks. ... moreIn that regard not much changed. I find I can't judge these books harshly, as they turned from a simple urban fantasy in such a wild sci-fi they stand on they own. less
