review 1: This was a lovely story about two single parents who find each other through unusual circumstances. Victoria is a teacher at a local college who rescues hedgehogs in her spare time & with the aid of her 8 yo daughter, Sophie. Adam is a real estate developer who has just bought the property where Victoria houses her hedgehogs. He travels the world with his son, Harry, buying & developing properties. It is story of love, of 2nd chances, of family & realizing what is important. A great story.
review 2: This was the third book in the box set called Love Is All Around and was by far the best of the three but still falls short of being great. This book was really short story that only took me about an hour to read. The characters Victoria, Adam and their two childr... moreen Harry and Sophie were all easily likeable and the story line while somewhat unconventional was sweet.Victoria lives in a small cottage with her eight year old daughter Sophie. A task that she has taken on is helping injured hedgehogs. The villagers in the small town call her when they come across injured or orphaned hedgehogs, she and Sophie nurse them back to health and then lets them go back into the wild in boxes at a neighboring property.Adam has bought the neighboring land and plans to develop it but had no clue of the arrangement that Victoria had with the past owner. He arrives with his ten year old son Harry and they meet Victoria and Sophie while touring the property. Together they work to find a solution for the hedgehogs and find themselves falling for each other but because Adam travels a lot doesn't want to pursue a relationship. Harry though is tired of traveling and now that he's found a friend, he's decided that he no longer wants to travel around with his dad and takes matters not his own hands. less
