Everything But...
review 1: What a great story of love at first sight, family, and curses. Vancy curses Bela's children and grandchildren to never have big fancy weddings because she didn't get hers when he didn't show up for their wedding. And the curse seems to be effective! The problem is that later she found out why Bela didn't show up for their wedding and married him anyway. Which means she cursed her own children and Grandchildren. Now her granddaughter Vancy is left at the alter. In order to escape the media, she ends up helping Matthew Wilde, her landscaper, with his two nephews in exchange for somewhere to hide from the media.
review 2: "Everything But a Groom" by Holly Jacobs is the first book in her 'Everything But..' series and what a start. I must be honest I worried about w
... morehat might on the pages of the book by the time I realized that it wasn't a Christian book, but I loved this book because it is a clean book with a great story line and so much humor that I couldn't stop laughing out loud.Normally I am not a fan of love at first sight story lines for there is usually something so flat about them and the characters almost just expect it to be love at first sight. This book though doesn't fit in that mold in any form which really helped the book. Here is a cast of characters that are just trying to make the best out of a whooper of a surprising day, that turned out to be something that they all needed.Truly worth reading and I am so glad that I gave it a try. I hope that everyone enjoys this book like I have. less

Just "liked" this story. Not one I was really enthralled with - pretty ordinary.

Short, simple, predictable and I kinda liked it.
