review 1: this was a fun book to read, it had a lot of good story lines. it is a story of discovery about feelings, self worth, about being a good friend, sister, daughter... the main character Jordan O'Malley, leaves her life on the east coast of the US to visit her best friend and to see her brother in San Francisco. There she comes to discover some things about her brother that send her on a trip to Nepal and into a new life for herself.”
review 2: not bad - it was interesting enough and a decent enough story. i kept going a bit crazy with some of the baby stuff - like getting upset on one page 'cause the mom gave the 7 month old a soda...and then turning around and giving the baby an orange popscicle...also the 7 month old was malnurished and not really taken care
... moreof...but learning to walk and could crawl upstairs - despite having been homeless and not around stairs...and i forget some of the others. anyway, if you can ignore all that, it's not too bad, especially for the price. :) less
