review 1: So incredibly pathetic. The main character is stupid for a geek - even more for a normal person. Despite having an IQ of genius, she's naive and immature and acts half her age. She's gullible and seems to be under the impression that the world revolves around her. It drives me nuts! Oh yes - she is so annoying! At times I really just wanted to jump into the book and tell her to shut up. The first book wasn't great and this one was even worse. However I understand that this is aimed at younger children and if they like it, who am I to criticize?
review 2: I really enjoyed reading this sequel! Harriet however did any me some of the time to the point where I was actually face palming. Nonetheless I would have wizzed through this in a day but sadly I have exams at ... morethe moment and then City of Heavenly Fire came out and you can guess what took priority there. Really looking forward to the next one as it takes place in New York which is one of my top destinations to travel to ahh! less
