review 1: I enjoyed this book immensely. It moved a bit slowly at times, however this gave more time to absorb the story. The Mountain of Light is a diamond owned by a Majaraja in an area of India near Pakistan. The story follows the diamond through the families who owned it all the way up to the British officer who brings it to England to give it to Queen Victoria. Very interesting and eye-opening story of British rule in India and the caste system. I enjoyed it very much.
review 2: This Book is flawless.I would like read again and again..This NOOR was so fantastic...the Way u described Men and women like Sherlock (his collar brushed badly etc), Desription of a places,person and thing was so adorable, Mostally that part of BOMBAY..what a defination (The city of Unb... moreelievers) ..whoa amazing Hotels, even that Guard seems vry beutyfully described.So far aftr reading this Book, i loved Evryone (evry role) excepting Dalip Singh...i disliked him..frm any angle that role couldnt leave any impression on me...no doubt u Crafted role very beautyfully but.... and. most imp thing was The Description of Stones both TOPAZ and Koh-i-noor was best ever any one can read or give.. So ... ur book left vry good impression on me..i was always a Passionate of History..and this book make me boiling to get the copies of all Author's book..thank u so much for this Koh-i-Noor..for giving a best journey any one can enjoy..stay blessed and keep ur History Fire burning within U and give us too much to read abt. less
