review 1: Series rating: 4.0 stars!It was a really fun read! I did this especially when it came to the end. I was annoyed in the first parts because the Ren-kun already had a girlfriend but yeah, can't argue if that's the plot. In the first parts, I also did think that Daiki will become one of the hurdles of Ren and Ninako's blooming romance (eheh.) but uh, he ended up with Sayuri (I must say, he moved on pretty fast huh.) Though, I did like it how persevering Andou-kun was in trying to win Ninako's affections! I wanted to read more about them being cutesy and all. (at some part I wanted them to be in a relationship! Haha. Imagine!) Though I'm a pro Ren-Ninako shipper! Towards the end, about Manabu's story, I wanted to read about it. It was cute!!I hear that a live action will be ma... morede of this? Eeh, can't wait to watch!This review is all over the place. -____- Oh well.
review 2: There is so much to like about this series. First, there's the author. I usually don't pay attention to the sidebars in tankuban because I find them boring and often pointless, but I love the author of this one. She's just so personable, just like her main character, Ninako. Second, all of the characters are realistic and likeable. Ninako is definitely a teen experiencing a major crush, but it never comes across as whiny or obsessive. Ren is actually a nice guy! In fact, all of the boys are nice people. There's no brooding male character. I realize that some girls like the brooding type, but it's refreshing not to have one. Finally, the relationships are realistic. I love that the manga shows a variety of relationships. There's established couples, new couples and unrequited love. There are friendships too. So much to love about this story, I sure hope it continues to be wonderful. less
