review 1: I read Warm Bodies awhile back before the movie came out. I have been thinking about re-reading it again. It was a good book with a great story. It was a story about what it means to be human, and what it is that makes us human. I would have given it 5 stars but I felt the ending was a bit rushed with so questions left unanswered but it is still a fun yet contemplative read that I would recommend to anyone.
review 2: The first 160 pages of this book were extremely slow and if my friend didn't want me to watch the movie and I wasn't so stubborn about reading books before the movie (minus Perks), I probably would have put it down. However, the last 80 pages of this book are packed with action and romance which made this book so much better. I did enjoy the writin... moreg style, but I think more of the plot should have been focused on the action and not the boring exposition that introduces the characters and does not even really lead to character development. less
