review 1: I just couldn't get emotionally involved in the main Olivia/Roland romance, but I tend to prefer the trope of the H/h not liking each other at first, and Olivia and Roland were already friends when the story began, so a lot of this could just be my personal preference. I did quite enjoy the secondary romance, though, which I won't give away, and which bumped this up to 2.5 stars (REALLY wish we could give half-stars here). Looking forward to the next book in the series. :-)
review 2: I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway and I read it during the weekend. I really enjoyed this book. It was long (a plus for me), which gave the author plenty of time to left the main characters fall in love and develop a good plot. I hate when a love story is rushed and you just ... moreshake your head, but I did like this one. I also was not able to guess the obstacles that would have to be overcome. Usually I can.
