review 1: Angst, angst and more angst! Throw in a pile of money, mystery, rumors and sex ... You've got a book I just #couldntputdown. Some of it still felt a bit bipolar. But that aspect is actually growing on me. And I'm finally starting to understand Grace a bit better.I'm still in love with Vaughn Asher. He is my #PrinceCharming.I do wish this serial would get back to it's social media roots. It seems to have strayed a bit from that. But otherwise it's great so far. #Iwantmore.
review 2: Slower start, blazing finish! This is my first JA Huss series, so I didn't really know what to expect from her writing style or even if she's a lover of angst, surprising twists, etc. Volume 3 gave me some clear answers, and I'll definitely read more by her. I was so excited to start t
... morehis volume immediately after finishing the second. The first few chapters moved along briskly, but then I felt it sagged. I got why things shifted, but it killed it a little bit for me. I found Grace more difficult and her inner dialogue tiresome occasionally. And then came a major shift, and I couldn't put the kindle down (which is why I'm writing a review at 1 AM). The teasers for upcoming plot points were incredible, the major events a little crazy but lots of fun, and the characters/romance keep surprising me. Did I see a lot of it coming, yes, but it's done in a way that still managed to catch me off guard. I'm hooked. less
