review 1: I totally fell in love with Rook and Ronin (and Spencer and Ford and Elise and everyone)! All the characters add such depth to the story and draw you in even if they don't play major roles. The sarcasm and pop culture references make it so relatable and fun. I totally recommend this omnibus edition so you can just read straight into the next book because believe me, you'll want to!Only drawback is that there are several typos and errors throughout the three books, but they are not so major that they take away from the story.
review 2: What and interesting and sad story! This book will keep you spell bounded to the end. A world that most of us will know nothing about and at times feels like it is so sordid!This book just shows you that you should never judge peo... moreple and the decisions they take in life, because it is easy to judge when you are sitting comfortably reading it, but when you have a history like Rook and Ronin, things are not always as mundane as sitting and reading a book! My heart bled for this girl, who never had a chance of a happy childhood. I think what made it even more profound for me, was the fact that you read about these types of things going on all over the world. Even though there was a lot of emotional content in this book, there was the sexy scenes as well. I did however feel that the sad around the whole journey of Rook overwhelmed this, but I do not see this as necessary bad. It was refreshing to read this omnibus, an erotic novel with substance!So if you are looking for something to engage you and make you think, with some really hot and sultry snippets in between, this should be your next book to read! less
