review 1: 4.5 HOUSE STARS!!"And I would sell my soul, I would give up my promised eternal salvation, if I could just get one more chance to make it right for them"A little bit of Tier went along way. I feel better knowing what Tier's true feeling are, but it doesn't change my feelings for Lucian. UGH I'm so torn. I just want Junco to finally get PEACE! I still don't know who's the bad guy or who's the good guy. At this point it's irrelevant, because I've grown attachments to so many of the characters, so whatever happens whether wrong or right I just want Junco to be happy. I'm afraid I won't get what I want though. I'm seriously scared to read the last book. BUT I have to know what happens!!!!!
review 2: In this short novella we get to learn more about the final plan th... moreat is in place to protect the Earth, humans & Avians alike, from the High Order. And interestingly enough things are made much clearer on the grand scale, things previously hinted at are now suddenly referenced with a fairly heavy hand - up to and including dangling a possible answer to the eternal religious question about the existence of a single god.This book definitely clears up more relationship questions from the individual's point of view, yet the involved parties do not discuss their feelings with one another, so there is still much to be resolved, should they live through the arrival of the High Order.Since Tier is featured much more heavily in this book we get to know more of the real Tier - or at the very least we get a preview of how Tier relates to others internally. And Tier's true feelings for Junco finally come to light, both for Tier and the readers. Kinda makes one want to smack him upside the head and say "What took you so long?"All told this is abbreviated story is lovely, and leaves you with a brutal cliff hanger of an ending, making the wait for December 2nd, 2013 all that much harder! December 2nd can't come soon enough in terms of getting my greedy little hands on the final book in this series! less
