review 1: Two stories, by two of the better authors of the genre.Unwrapped by Jaci Burton was the better of the two. Characters were believable, the story line wasn't bad and the sex was good.To Do List by Laurent Dane wasn't quite as good. Characters were a little too simplistic for my tastes, the story line was so-so and the sex wasn't up to par.Unwrapped gets 3 stars, To Do List gets 2.5, for an average of 3 stars.

But now, she realizes the life she thought she wanted exacts too high a price. Exhausted, she heads home for Christmas to make a new to-do list. She didn't factor in Rafe, her brother's best friend kissing her under the mistletoe! Belle finds herself with a whole new set of goals to balance with what she thought she always wanted. Rafe's plan is to seduce Belle back home where she belongs.Okay first Unwrapped. I love Amy. She is the girl that every little dreams about. Working their way to the life goal of a career. Yet with Amy she has lost the ability to date and develop relationships. Until Justin walks into the law firm where she works. Oh then she has all kinds of ideas about what she wants to do to Justin just as much as what Justin wants to do to her. Yet Amy believes that work and pleasure should not mix. On a work trip to Hawaii to close a deal Justin catches Amy doing something very naughty on the flight to Hawaii. From that point on it is all about pleasing Amy and getting her to break down her walls. Justin also does the unthinkable. He presents her with a Christmas gift. A fantasy to live with always. It was hot for a quick read.Now to TO DO LIST ,Belle is like Amy in a lot of ways. Putting in the extra hours at work to be seen and well as giving up a lot of family time and relationship building time. However after a full year of never going home to see her family she decides that it is time regardless of work. She needs her family. Upon arriving at her brother's place with his best friend Rafe (the best friend) surprises her with a kiss that would make any teenager swoon, or adult for that matter. Rafe has been developing feelings for Belle for a long time, but with her never around it is hard to know what the feelings really are. Of course big brother catches on and does the whole don't hurt her or else routine. Which you know has to happen because it is the sibling friend rule. Rafe goes about wooing Belle. This one was cute as wellThese two stories really in the end were about letting go and realizing that you are not giving up on your dream you are adding to it. less
