review 1: 2.5 This was good but for me not great. It was kinda weird that Tristan just appears and Kidnaps Rori because shes his mate. Keeps her for a few hours. Takes her blood, which I thought that he had changed her but he did not. guess it was just a start of the process? Then takes her home. I did like that he was an eight hundred year old virgin. I think that was my favorite part.It was all just to fast. They feel in love instantly and it was just weird to me the way it all went down. Even the ending was just to fast not enough action. Overall the writing style was good but the story was just ok for me.
review 2: There is definitely a formula to this series. A vampire finds his mate. They realize they can't live without them, but the mate is not sold on the idea... more right away. They get into some sort of danger and might never see their mate again and then realize they love them and can't live without them. These stories are ok. I have one more to read because I bought them all at once thinking they sounded really cool, but I'm not enjoying them like I thought I would. less
