review 1: American Books are amazing and some how interesting, but mostly crazy. I remember a girl whose father was involved in this church association for young teenage girls, after her mother died she was promised to follow these set of rules and one of them she was willing to go up against, being pure. She didn't want any part of being of this programme her father had set for her, so she broke the promises her mum gave to her and did something really crazy, having sex with someone she didn't even fall in love with. I forgot the reason why she did it, because I read this book months ago.
review 2: The premise didn't appeal to me at all and, though it sounds horrible, I read this book with the intention to slate it (to myself, obviously). I was fully prepared to rip it
... moreapart and agree with the negative reviews. It gets five stars mainly because it surprised me. I actually enjoyed how flawed the main character was - something I wasn't really expecting as Jackson's books tend to have a habit of being sickly sweet. Definitely one of my favourites from her. less

Definitely not comparable to The Fault in Our Stars but still a cute, quick read!

Simple story with some cute moments. Fun teen novel.
