review 1: Lots of nonstop action. Interesting premise about Christianity being based on a lie. Was sorry to see a couple of the good guys die in the beginning but didn't feel bad about the mafia guys getting killed in the end. Liked the fact that they were killed by their own guys. Love trying to figure out the clues with the characters. Liked that the 'relics' were actually saved from destruction. Quite a good, suspenseful book.
review 2: Didn't hate The Nosferatu Scroll so decided to start at the beginning of this series. Along the lines of James Rollins and Chris K ... however you spell that, so formulaic but an easy read. I find Bronson very "Ra Ra Me Man!" and Angela, remarkably, always appears to know exactly the details of the period of history they need t
... moreo research (in this regard The Nosferatu Scroll was more interesting as she wasn't such a know-it-all), but their relationship is interesting and it's an easy read. I'll read the rest as commuter fare. less
