review 1: Wonderful short book. I loved the voice of the central character, I pictured Peter Sellers playing the role. The Hollywood setting of the 40s is fully realized, especially the depictions of great old monster movies. Morrow even peppered in nods to Andrei Tarkovsky‘s movies. The book was very funny, but also appropriately serious in regards to the horrors of WWII. I loved the book. I look forward to reading more by the author.
