review 1: I wasn't quiet sure what I expected but I was pleasantly surprised with the sweet love story between Max and Mallory. The sex scenes were hot, but they didn't go over the top to they took over the story. I've read a few of the reviews here and yes, Max is not a domineering, jerk of a dom. He was smart enough to know what Mallory needed to feel comfortable. Who wouldn't love a guy who put your needs first? I'm looking forward to reading book 2, Longing, which is already downloaded to my Kindle.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. The story is smooth and easy to follow. The characters all have great chemistry. The pull between Mallory and Max was great and I loved watching them try to fight their attraction. The erotic scenes between these two practically melted my Ki
... morendle. I also really enjoyed the secondary characters, I have a feeling there will be some great stories to come in this series.
