review 1: This is the third book I read by Jamie Magee and I am always left needing to read the next in the series. I am pulled into the characters stories, and she has a way of making you feel for the villain as well. I can't put them down.My only complaint with all of her books I have read is that it needs major editing. This one was the worst of the three I read. Omitted words, added words, swapped words, misspellings, grammatical errors, typos and incorrect use of your/you're leaves this book feeling like it was rushed to publishing. It seems as though the book was quickly written and then never considered again, no review, no edit, no nothing!
review 2: In the sequel, Embody, Willow and Landen are again tested by Drake. This time, the test is different but no less l... moreife altering. Willow learns she has had past lives that she has done things she would rather not remember or know about, but then again, so has Landen. When they realize they aren't the only ones with extraordinary abilities and everyone can achieve certain heights. They will need all of them to stay on track and to stay together!I absolutely fell in love with the characters in these books. Willow at times aggravated me with her naivety but at the same time, she is young and is actually wise beyond her years! Landen is a wonderful and intelligent character. The two kids are great. All the friends and family we meet are amazing and even Drake is a character you have to love! The author does an amazing job with the worlds that are created and the strand.I rate both books 5/5. I can't wait for the next book in the series!Thank you to the author for the review copies of these ebooks.
