review 1: This was purchased for my by my Secret Santa, and I'm very glad of it. This is a very cute book that took my mind off of my homework. There are many corresponding scenes with "Persuasion," and I enjoyed that. "Persuasion" is my favorite Jane Austen novel, so, I was looking forward to this. It was a time travel novel, which I usually do not like, but found it easy enough to look past. Knowing what I know now, I think that I would purchase it myself, and it would be worth the money.

... morethis book kind of got on my nerves a little, but what I liked was the premise that Jane Austen got her ideas for her novels from her own life or the lives of others. Sophie's ancestor's life will remind you of one her novels. It is worth reading for Austen fans. less
