review 1: I didn't find this story interesting. The main character is in a horrible marriage and is seeking an escape. She looks for it via BDSM sites on the Internet. She meets some frogs and then a prince (at least in comparison.) She seems to be able to give a frog more of a chance then her prince. This was stupid and frustrating. She's a character that always seems to feel empty. Although I felt somewhat sorry for her (felt less of this as the story went on) she wasn't very interesting and I ended up not caring much about what happened to her. This book has a sequel, I won't be reading it.
review 2: I stumbled across this author on social media and decided to give her books a whirl. I was very happy I did. Sebastian is a character that draws you in immediately. He ha
... mores this darkness about him that comes off as appealing to Beth. Beth is faced with some very tough decisions in this book and I think that any woman put in her position would feel the way she does. Every woman just wants to be loved and feel loved. I'd say it's our ultimate goal as a species. I loved this book overall, I love Janey also. She's such a sweetheart. I would recommend that you buy the second book before you finish the first because of the crazy twist at the end of the book. less
