review 1: Another hit out of the Park! This book is the third in the Weddings by Design Series and I have loved all 3. While it is best to read this series in order, However it can stand alone. I love the humor in Janice Thompson's writing which helps make it an enjoyable read. This book has some very humorous and also very touching and moving sections. I have to say the proposal in this was over the top with a Wow factor! I won't say any more so as not to spoil it, but you will not want to miss this part. Another favorite with her writing is the way she brings in Spiritual applications. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series which has just been released.
review 2: Once again, Janice Thompson has delivered a story of a character that I want... more to be friends with. In The Dream Dress we get to know Gabi. We previously met her as the designer of Hannah's wedding dress, that the girl that saved Scarlett from the bridesmaid dress that was too big. This time around we get to meet Gabi's family, peep into her Cinderella-like life in the alterations closet, and watch her as she get to know God.Of course Bella Neeley plays a big part in this story, and she once again delivers words of wisdom about the life we can have if we just let God into our every day.I loved watching Gabi and Jordan's relationship grow, and cheered out loud when Gabi finally took the steps to move her professional life in the direction I had been hoping for from the beginning of the book.I can't wait to get into the next book in this series to see how Gabi's future is going to play out, as well as meet more friends from Galveston. less
