review 1: I fled New York with my heart breaking and a million questions. Foremost in my mind was whether Jeff would even see me after the colossal mess that New York turned out to be. I discovered the answer, but that only spawned even more questions, many of the yes or no variety...When I first started reading this series, I thought “Great! A story about a real woman.” I was starting to get a little tired of reading stories about perfect men AND perfect women. Why do all the women have to be gorgeous? Give them a pimple, give them full hips, give them something so us girls reading can feel like we have a chance with the sexy main character. I was excited that this series would give us that. I just wasn’t ready for how much. There is LOTS of sex in this series, and I almost f... moreeel like there is too much. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good sexy book, but I also want a story too. The one thing I did not like about this series is that just because the main character, Anna, is a bigger girl; she automatically has to be easy in order for a guy to notice her. Anna actually is a beautiful, strong woman; she just doesn’t feel that way because of men from her past. It made me feel for her. I know that there were times in my life that I felt like the only way to get a guy to notice me was to sleep with him. This book takes you on a back and forth ride between Chase and Jeff. I almost felt a little dizzy at times. But, I was happy when Anna finally made a decision between the two and chose the man who truly loved her and treated her the way she deserved to be treated. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good sex story. There is lots of sex but again, very little story. So if you like steamy sex scenes and lots of them, this book is for you.
review 2: "Big Girls Do It Wilder" is a super quick read. I love Anna's character ... confident on the outside, insecure on the inside. What girl doesn't have a few traits of Anna's? Most of us have a hang up or two. I was so happy to see Anna back with Jeff. I'm a team Jeff girl. Ms. Wilder's Big Girl Series is a predictable series. Being predictable is why I like the series. The series is short, steamy, and complete "candy" for the mind. No heavy thinking necessary. Having a good go to short story series is a must in my life. Sometimes you need a quick read for those nights you wake up in the middle of the night and can't fall back to sleep, need an in between book, hanging out at the beach, etc. I'll continue to read the series because I want to know what happens with Anna, Chase, and Jeff. less
