review 1: no star/s at all.It may contain spoilers. Well yeah it does.I'm sorry, I really just, couldn't ugh bring myself to finish this book. I hated the way Ever forgave Caden that instantly. yeah she said it's not for him but for her? If I were IN Ever's shoes, I don't know what I would've done. It would be easier if my husband (in this instance) just did the deed with another woman, not my sister, much less my twin. The first book was so much better then the succeeding books.
review 2: I hate that this book got a lot of 1 star ratings. I don't think it was totally justified. I read all three books in quick succession and liked each book more than the last. Most of the bad reviews are simply because readers didn't like what happened or decisions certain character m... moreade. I get where each character was coming from, not from experience, but from a perspective shift. But Jasinda explained what space the character's head was in. It wasn't just a "leap" (believe me because I said so). While I may not like everything Jasinda writes, she is right up there with my favorite romance writers. Each book she writes is, yes, romance, but it feels different each time. A fresh take/idea in a story. The writing is good, the story is good (editing is so-so). Don't rate a book poorly simply because you don't like a decision or action a character makes. That is not good enough. Real people make bad decisions or feel differently than we do, so can fictional characters. It's what makes a story worth reading. less
