review 1: So fun! And arabian adventure story that left me begging for the next book (don't think it is out yet). Sultans, treasure, pirates, voyages, mysterious islands, etc. Some of the story was wrapped up in the end- which I really liked but another tangent of the story will continue in the next book. Good for boys and girls alike (I think- i am biased as I am a girl)- the two main characters are a boy and a girl.
review 2: I grabbed this book on a quick trip to the library. It looked interesting and I thought it might be something my kids would enjoy. I am happy to say that it was great! It's definitely younger than "young adult" (think Percy Jackson age group), but there is plenty of action and adventure and never got boring. This will be a great addition to ou... morer bookshelf and I hope there is another one coming because I can't wait to see what happens to Zardi next. less
