The Inevitable Trilogy
review 1: The story was ok, but I got the impression, as the story needed to end in this last book, everything was very quick written. A lot of information well-packed in one book. I liked the travelling in the parallel universes, but you have to keep your head straight to know who you are reading about. Why is Eve so set on Nathan? Will Apoxy and Nathan finally be reunited? And what about Cammie or Cam? Was it Nathan or is it Nate? Everything will enfold in this last book of the Inevitable trilogy.
review 2: Of the three books in the Inevitable Trilogy, Incredible was my least favorite. If 3 and one half stars was available that would be the rating I would have given this book. My problem with this final installment is that the plot was too convoluted at times and I did
... more not feel that Nate received his just rewards in the end.The storyline for Incredible begins within days of the second book, Impossible. Apoxy is in the hospital aging quickly and has been determined to need hospice care until she passes away from natural causes. Before this happens many secrets are reveal to both Nathan and Cam. Eve is not done with torturing them and she wants them to know every single detail.Eve manages to merge two world together; one that includes Nathan and Cam and another inclusive of Nate and Cammie. This is where things began getting quite convoluted. The merging of these worlds at time felt like an opportunity to stretch out the length of the book by repeating events from previous books. It just didn't work too well for me. Additionally, the contrast between the characters (Nathan vs. Nate, and Cammie vs. Cam) diluted the beauty of the earlier storyline.Don't get me wrong Incredible was a good read; just not as good as the previous two books. Also, I would not recommend that someone read this book without reading the other two books first because they would be completely lost. less
