review 1: Kristoff manages to hold the stormdancer world together despite traveling back in time to what could be considered the spawning point of the whole saga. Though short, the story feels well balanced between its action and political developments, the characters remain true in their ideals and behavior making them easy to understand and sympathize with. The way in which it is written allows for a different point of view that though for some might lack depth, it gives a different feeling but did not fail to convey the emotions the author wanted to share.
review 2: The fact that that the author was cool enough to send this to me doesn't reflect on the review...muchThis lil' novella just made me want to read Kinslayer now, i hadnt realised how much i missed this worl
... mored until i started reading this. Mr Kristoff said that he wrote it to make you sad and true enough it did, Jun was a great character and i loved that it was the point of view of the thunder tiger. Her POV made it all the more poignant. less
