review 1: OKAY! This is what happens when you don't read the synopsis of a book and judge it solely by its cover.This is a really good cover.But the book was not my cup of tea (Not that I drink tea).I was expecting something different.This is not the author's fault, of course.Besides that, though, it was sort of like you were dropped into the story without enough background information on the large group of characters to give a shit about them first. (And this is the first book in the series). I didn't care if Eli and Alanso got together like I think I was supposed to right from the start.Anyways, if you like m/m stories that are slightly ghetto, go for it.
review 2: Wow! Jayne Rylon has done it again. King Cobra is book one in the HOT RODS series. Kind of a spin off fro... morem the Power tools series. The series is about a group of mechanics led by Eli London. In one of the Power Tools series books Eli and Alanso another of the mechanics visit the crew and get a eyeful of how their relationships work. Ever since then things have been tense between the two mechanics. It finally comes down to embracing what might be or possibly losing what they have.This book is sizzling hot erotica,down and dirty. Be warned a head of time. There is a lot of history between the member of this group. Eli's dad took each one under his wing and helped them get to be where they are now and Eli became their leader and is very protective of them all. All the mechanics are introduced in this book but the main focus is Alanso and Eli and a little of Sally. I think this series is a going to be a slow burn that gets hotter and hotter as you read! 4 out of 5 stars for King Cobra by Jayne Rylon. less
