review 1: ....... sigh..... not sure where to start with this, perhaps first off, that this was a push for 4 start, just above a 3 but nor really 4... but since I'm still reeling from the ending, its gets a 4 today! I never re tell a story in my reviews, but I will say this the very fact that story has some non con / dub con twist really punched the read to a new level. These scenes where done with the utmost care, graphical to a point that the reader could connect but light enough to ensure no lasting gray areas to wonder about. I would have enjoyed it more had Ms Owens changed the perspective to our captor more. I always find detailed perspective from a specific character, personal musing if you need to know specifics, more enjoyable than that of a first person view.I really enjoy... moreed the read, and will be looking into a few other by this author. review 2: I tossed it back and forth, the idea of reading this book. Finally, I said, "Ignore the reviews. Ignore the critics. You loveJC Owens." I read it. I loved it. I loved the gentle strength and passion of Kanar. I loved the harem, its familial support and each of their unique characteristics, the blend.. I loved Auri finding himself through his own submission. For a brief read, it was an awesome one. less
