review 1: I have read other books from Mrs. Valentine and couldn’t wait to read this one. She didn’t disappoint me. I couldn’t put it down from the minute I picked it up. Raine Forester was the quiet girl that no one really paid attention to, until the day Camron Moss came into her life. The events that happen on the night of the senior prom will forever bond them together. When Camron insisted that Raine is not carrying his child, Raine has been kicked out of her home and has been living in her car. One night when Raine insisted on talking to Camron about the child, it turned very ugly. When she left Camron’s older brother Jarret followed her to her car. The last time she saw him was at the after party he hosted for the senior prom for his brother Camron. He invited Raine t... moreo come stay with him in his home. The events that happen will tug at your heart. Valentine is an amazing writing and she makes me want to keep reading. ****Must add to your To Be Read (TBR) list of books****
review 2: Very good and sweet story! This is the story of Raine, who is a quiet, shy, reserved girl. She goes to school, does her studies, but when she is approached by the quarterback of the football team, she can't help but feel excited and appreciated.Raine and Cameron, the popular quarterback start dating, he brings her into his circle, introduces her to all his buddies, and unfortunately, she never feels like she's accepted. One night when they go to a party, she wanders around the house and lands in a room that has an angry looking man in it. Jarrett, Cameron's older brother has allowed his brother to throw a party at his house, with the rules that no one enters his room. He yells at Raine to get out, but she doesn't move, she stands strong and on her own two feet, not wanting to go back to the party around those horrible people.Eventually she leaves and Cameron is drunk. One fun night turns into a nightmare for Raine. Cameron stops talking to her, her parents kick her out, and now she has nowhere to go and no plans for her future. When Raine confronts Cameron and his family about her situation, they are anything but helpful. A few months later, Raine runs into Jarrett at the store, and from that moment on, he is determined to help her out. Knowing his family won't step up, he will.It takes awhile for these two to open up, but when they do, man the fireworks fly. But can Jarrett be with the girl who dated his younger brother? Will he be able to get past her secret?Definitely a great story and a must read! less
