review 1: OH MY GOD!! This book is sooo good! I really loved it. There is the Beautiful Caroline and her really wonderful, totally relate able mom Linda who will make you laugh. Case is great and i think that Caroline might not have given him enough of a chance. But in her defense she had no idea that she wouldn't EVER get the warm fuzzy hot and sweaty real love feeling for the shmo she does pick. This women is to good, to beautiful, to smart, and so much more then the butt she decides to marry. But i have no fear because as more goes on toward the end you start to feel Caroline is beginning to realize that she deserves what her mom and dad had. And when she calmly confronts Brad (yuck) about the earing you can almost hear him pee his pants. Now that was a priceless gift Jean. I lo... moreve the ending how it gives you just enough to keep you coming back. I would recommend this book to anyone! I cant wait for the next part.
review 2: This is a prequel to Jean Joachim's "Sunny Days, Moonlit Nights" and it's definitely a great teaser! It follows Caroline and her mother Linda as they hit New York society to find a "suitable" husband for Caroline. We also learn about Linda and her husband Alex, Caroline's father. Their story was equally interesting to me as it revealed the motivation behind Linda's desire for Caroline to find a wealthy husband. The entire story is full of surprises, and I can't wait to read what happens next. less
