review 1: È un libro a cui forse non mi sarei mai avvicinata: l'autore mi era sconosciuto, l'argomento trattato dal romanzo, i clochard, gli extracomunitari, non proprio nelle mie corde. Grazie a una sfida mi si è aperto un mondo. E un personaggio in particolare, Rico, mi ha completamente assorbito. Da una parte veloce e snello per quanto riguarda la lettura, dall'altra profondo e struggente per le sensazioni rilasciate.
review 2: A great read, of course I had to read the english translation, but I found it to be a powerful representation of life on the margins and how easy it is to slip through the cracks of society. A meditation on the cruelty of the world we live in, the author mentions On the Road several times, and this novel reminds me of that book (which I love)... more but more jaded and so much of France unfolds unique in its complex beauty and horror. less
