review 1: I could not put this book down. If you liked "Gone Girl," this book will pique your interest too. The prose is tightly written and the story grabs your attention with its mix of mystery, intrigue and familiarity. At the core of the novel is the central theme of intuition. Does your initial interaction with someone give you clues about how they will be in a relationship and ultimately, who they are? The novel's central character, Grace, is a therapist and is an expert at relationships, so much so that she penned a book about relationships that the title takes its name from called, "You Should Have Known." However, her book's thesis serves as a cautionary tale for her shortcomings in seeing the truth in her own marriage. The book takes place in New York City and will take yo... moreu on a journey along with Grace. In it, you will question what you think you know and be riveted by the book's chain - and change - of events. This is a must-read.
review 2: This book DRAGGED!!! So many details that were unnecessary, redundant, and boring. In the first 50 pages I didn't like the main character, she came off very arrogant and self centered. Then she was so naïve I wanted to jump inside the book and shake her and scream "YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN" very unrealistic that a woman doesn't keep any kind of tabs on her husband. Don't even bother reading it if you thought it would be anything like gone girl. less
