review 1: Another great Dorothy Martin mystery - eagerly awaited. Enjoyed the fact that she had Nigel and Inga as main characters this time. And the way she introduced the story was very good, a bit different and set the tone quite well. I must admit that I didn't see the ending coming until the last minute...well done Ms. Dams! Very involved plot this time, I'm sure that some will criticize and say the story dragged but a good murder/mystery should not be a fast read. Lots of details - can't wait for the next one!
review 2: This is a very enjoyable mystery series for those enjoy a solid English style mystery. The characters are especially appealing -- a retired Chief Constable, a retired ex-pat American schoolteacher, married and enjoying their "golden years", tr... moreavelling a bit and helping solve murders wherever they happen to be. In this one they are attending a music festival in Wales. Two people die, apparently as a result of accidents. By the end a mystery has been unraveled and justice worked out. less
