review 1: I didn't think that I would learn too much from this book, but I really liked how pre-attentive processing was explained in this book - definitely the best that I've read across a handful of books and dozens of articles. I also liked the last chapter on how responsive the system needs to be based on pre-attentive processing principles. It was really clearly explained.The first half is probably not for anyone who does UX day in and day out, but the last half made up for it. I gave it four stars because I still would have liked more based on some of the principles covered in the second half.
