review 1: Much, much better than I expected, but not as good as it could have been. I'm loking forward to reading more from this author to see if he gets better at the details, and gets less obvious when blindfolding the reader.I was surprised I was actually unsure who the killer was until the end. I had my suspiscions, but it wasn't obvious, as the crime-litt I've been reading lately has been. A pleasant surprise. The chracters are well depicted, and I find myself getting interested in how they will be doing later. A very good sign. I think this has been my stepping stone back into crime.
review 2: Intriguing murder mystery in Mykonos and Delos. Wow, it seems like all the locals have skeletons in their closet and could be the abductor/murderer.There's a serial killer on
... more Mykonos. He's been at this for 20 years but only kills during the tourist season and kills only tall, blond non-Greeks. The new police chief is on the case along with his supervisor of police for the Cyclades islands. Once they found the one body, they found the bones of all the other victims. Then there's a new visitor to the island, Annika, who fits the description of tall, blond non-Greek. But, she is half Greek. In fact, her uncle is the Police minister in Athens.Who is the abductor/murderer? There are many suspects: Albanians, taxi driver, Panos (taverna owner), Panos' son, the jeweler, the hotel owner. You find out in the very last sentence of the story.I've been to Mykonos and the story brought back some memories. I never made it to Delos but it sounds like a good place to visit - especially now that the murder is solved. less

Just note enough juice to it. Didn't feel any urge to finish it but I did. It plodded along.

Took a bit to get into but once the story got going it was good. Not bad for a free ebook!

The ending was entirely too anticlimactic for me to give this book more than 2 stars.
