review 1: Sleepaway Girls is a story about a fifteen-year-old girl named Sam Montgomery who applies to be a CIT at an upstate New York sleepaway camp called Whispering Pines when her best friend Mal gets a new clingy boyfriend. She thinks she's safe until another CIT named Ashley starts going after her. Meanwhile, Sam befriends three girls named Emily, Court, and Grace, and the four call themselves the Sleepaway Girls, recording talk sessions late at night with Sam's camcorder. Sam also develops a crush on a counselor named Hunter. Watch as Sam develops a backbone, makes new friends, and learns new things she never would have learned if she didn't go to Whispering Pines.
review 2: Okay so I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It's so good and my new favorite book!! I read the whole book ... morein 4 1/2 hours and loved every. single. minute. Okay it's about a girl named Sam who comes to camp as a CIT and she fits in right away. She meets Hunter, a gorgeous boy who is a counselor and apparently likes more than one girl. She also meets Chase (love him!) who warns her about Hunter. I did expect the ending on which boy she chooses though. Then there is Ashley, the camp directors daughter, who she can't STAND!! The girl is snooty and mean. Sam's mom and Ashley's dad (they're both single) start to date. Any way, LOVED THIS BOOK ;) less
