review 1: I am really beginning to love this series. In the first book, I was a bit put off by the social 'classes' described by Savannah, the divorced southern belle turned realtor. The first book, though, set the stage and the base personalities for the rest of the series. Each book was better than the last and the characters were more developed. This book was well-paced, with lots of action, suspense, and surprises. I only wish Savannah would grow up and make decisions without the constant fear of what her family and friends would think. She makes excuses for her mother's thinking, yet she seems to fall into the same trap. Love the tension created between Todd and Rafe. Her relationship with Rafe, which she firmly denies every chance she gets, puts her in several precarious posit... moreions and the ending (or is it just the beginning?) is quite surprising. Glad to see she finally has an epiphany about Rafe's bi-racial background and how it has affected him.
review 2: Contract Pending is another fantastic read by Jenna Bennett. It is the third book in the Savannah Martin Mystery Series. They just keep getting better and better. Savannah and Rafe? Savannah and Todd? Oh the surprises you will find in this mystery. If you like romance and mystery this is a series I highly recommend.
